Leticia grew up in Mexico City and immigrated to the USA as a young teen, as her parents sought to provide a better life for Leticia and her brother—the American Dream. They left everything behind, including family and friends, arriving with just a small suitcase each—one for Leticia, her brother, and her parents—and a total of $40 they pooled together from their savings. With only a few English phrases in their vocabulary, Leticia and her brother quickly learned the language in a year and a half.
Through life’s struggles and the ups and downs of adapting to a new lifestyle, Leticia’s brother became a respected and appreciated supervisor and manager for UPS. After earning a BS in Business from USC, Leticia worked with a phone company for 14 years, focusing on technology, marketing, development, billing, and long-distance industry markets as the manager of all subsidiaries.
In 1993, Leticia obtained her real estate broker’s license and began selling homes part-time. Six years later, she transitioned to a full-time traditional realtor, actively selling real estate in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
