I grew up in Mexico City, but my family immigrated to the USA when I was a teenager. My parents wanted a better life for my brother and me—the American Dream, they called it. We left everything behind, family, friends, everything. We arrived with just a suitcase each, and a measly $40 we pooled together from our savings.

My brother and I quickly learned English—we were fluent in a year and a half. We had to, it was sink or swim. Life wasn’t easy, but my brother became a respected supervisor and manager at UPS.

After earning a BS in Business from USC, I worked with a phone company for 14 years. I was a manager, focusing on technology, marketing, development, billing, and long-distance markets.

In 1993, I got my real estate broker’s license and started selling homes part-time. Six years later, I went full-time. I was a traditional realtor, selling in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.

Then, in 2021, I joined Rudy Kusuma‘s Team at Partner Real Estate. It’s a non-traditional brokerage, and I represent them in Northern California. The last three years have been the most successful of my career, thanks to the amazing tools, resources, and support I have here.
