I just came in from shooting a video outside and WOW! It’s beautiful today! Yes, I realize that by the time you read this, it might be cold and rainy, but those dreary days are just about over. Everyone loves Spring—primarily because it means… Summer is near!
For many across this great country, though, it’s still cold, gray, and snowy. One thing’s for sure: this winter season will end. And just like the seasons change, so do the seasons of life. Some are warm and filled with light, while others are cold and dark. The lows we want to move through quickly, while the highs we want to hold onto forever. But I’ve learned that it’s in the low points, the tough times, that we grow the most. These moments shape us, strengthen us, and remind us of what truly matters.

Unfortunately, not everyone will get to enjoy the beauty of Spring this year. Just down the street from where I’m typing this, The Rotary Club of Concord is having to turn some away. For these families, Springtime isn’t about flowers blooming or kids riding their bikes—it’s about survival. While many of us welcome the new season with open arms, others are simply praying for a fresh start, a helping hand, and a little hope.
One of our goals in Rotary is to raise enough funds so all who need help can be served. No family should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from or if they’ll have a safe place to sleep at night. That’s why we are committed to making a difference—one act of kindness, one fundraiser, one helping hand at a time.
It takes a community to create change, and together, we can bring light to those facing dark times. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, every effort counts.
